Valkyrie Ascension
Valkyrie Ascension was born from one simple thought.
We women are a force of nature. We are freedom, we are creation, we are courage, strength, love, softness and so much more. We are a force of nature.
So many of us feel that there is something more. That life is bigger than what we have been taught. The values we have been instilled in, the roles we have been assigned. That feeling is not plucked from thin air. It is the soul calling out to the reality we are meant to live.
We are always creating our lives, consciously or unconsciously. With our thoughts, the words we choose, the decisions we make and the energy we choose to take in and give out.
Valkyrie Ascension is based on the philosophy that when a woman remembers who she is, she is able to create her reality consciously, with freedom. She doesn’t wait, she trusts. She chooses with her heart, follows her intuition, and creates a life that is in tune with how her heart beats.
When a woman connects with the Goddess and the Valkyrie within, these two energies begin to work together. Softness and strength. Flow and courage. That is where freedom is created. The freedom to be fully herself.
The heart behind Valkyrie Ascension
My name is Sigurrós Yrja and I am so lucky to have been assigned many roles in life.
This journey of life is colourful, beautiful and meaningful. And sometimes unbearably grey. But it is precisely this grey that develops us the most.
My own journey is coloured by the entire spectrum. I know well how to get stuck in trauma and anxiety and not see the way out. I know what it is like to shrink so much that you lose your own light. I also know what it is like to find this power within yourself that says: “I am not going to be here.” To make that one brave decision and find your light again.
I know how much courage it takes to dive deep and not know what you will find. I know what it is like to discover a brand new version of yourself, shake off the opinions of others and learn to stand firm in that woman.
In recent years, I have been on a profound spiritual journey. I have experienced darkness more intense than I have ever experienced before, and sorrow so intense that it felt like my heart was being ripped out. In those same years, I have also experienced more peace, more joy, more happiness, more gratitude, and more love than I knew existed.
That is why I know that we can create the life our hearts desire.
I have a passion for energy and how we can use it to create the life we dream of. Over the past few years, I have absorbed knowledge from spiritual studies, about our energy body, and especially about feminine and masculine energy. Along with that, I have studied various forms of energy work and holistic health.
And it is precisely this journey that brought me to where I am today.
